Carnaval de Bahidorá is an international music and arts festival. It takes place every year in the protected paradise of Las Estacas, Mexico. Since 2013 it gathers a community of enthusiasts seeking communion and new collective experiences. A unique space in Mexico where creativity, celebration, nature and respect for the earth sprout. 3 days, 12000 attendees, 7 music stages, 75 bands and eclectic artists, 300 activities and diverse experiences, 40 visual artists, live talks, cinema, holistic spaces and endless recreational and unusual content for the most curious.


The Common is one of the most exciting destinations at Glastonbury Festival; occupying the South Eastern tip of the world’s greatest festival in a wild celebration of counterculture. Home to the infamous Temple and Rum Shack, it is renowned for combining jaw-dropping set design, all-night raves and spiritual daytime talks, including shamanic ceremonies and live bands from Latin America and across the world. Under the rich earth lies a buried secret waiting quietly for those who will listen and so learn to unlock its mystic power…


Shangri La is a legendary, dystopian late night area at Glastonbury Festival. Born from the ashes of the fabled Lost Vagueness, it evolved from the traveller community’s turbulent history with festival founder Michael Eavis - and has since made the South East corner a riot of live music, art and immersive theatre. Holding a mirror up to the masses. Creating conversations, expanding minds & opening hearts. Shangri La has grown to encompass the groundbreaking Lost Horizon - a VR hybrid live music venue in Bristol and online.


Roundhouse in London is one of the most famous live music venues in the world, with an enviable heritage that includes Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix and Jay Z within a railway engine shed that is over 170 years old. It is also a world-class arts centre. Transmission Roundhouse is a socially engaged podcast platform powered by the Roundhouse. A home for niche, innovative and groundbreaking audio-led content that champions the voices of underrepresented young creatives. The platform is made up of emerging presenters and producers aged 18–25, creating content from the heart of the Roundhouse.


The British Council Mexico recognises the role of culture as a facilitator and driver of change for sustainable development. The Cultura Circular Fund for the Development of Sustainable Festivals in Mexico provides resources to promote cultural exchange between Mexico and the United Kingdom, to strengthen the development of Mexican festivals and promote sustainable development culture. It is within the framework of this initiative that the Carnaval de Bahidorá and The Common Glastonibury design and produce RE:SET Gallery. The Circular Culture Fund is aimed at cultural and artistic festivals in Mexico, interested in collaborations and/or work shows focused on triggering a change in attitudes, culture-related narratives and practices with a focus on climate change and biodiversity.
